1. First you'll form a team of three people. Think of some films you are interested in, discuss and choose the one you want to focus on. ( Don’t choose films that aren’t available on VHS or DVD yet!)

2. Surf the internet and collect the information you need to accomplish your task. Here are some links you may use to find useful material:

3. Take notes or print out what is relevant and interesting.

Re-elaboration

1. Organize your material in a consistent way. Rephrase what you’ve found and create your personal text using your own words.

2. Prepare the details for the presentation. Decide who is going to say what (everybody has to do something) and how you are going to present you findings. Prepare the handout to give to your teacher, and the supports you will need for the presentation (transparency sheets, posters, and so on).

Presentation

1. Oral presentation. Everybody in the team has to take part in it. Remember to vary your presentation by using the OHP (Over Head Projector), the blackboard or some posters. You can keep some sheets with you, but don’t read them. You should speak to your classmates.

2. While your classmates present their film, you should listen carefully and fill in the evaluation chart (shown below).

Voting

1. After everybody’s presentation, there will be the voting for the film you want to choose. The voting will be based on the results of the evaluation chart. The team with the highest average score will have their film shown to the class at the end of the year.
